If you need
something larger than a purse, try a tote
If your purse seems to be too small, it might be time to move to
a larger size of bag. Tote bags allow you to fit many more
belongings than you would be able to fit into a purse, but they
also don’t take up too much room. In fact, a tote can work as an
alternative to a backpack for light objects. This makes this an
ideal bag style for anybody who doesn’t particularly like
backpacks.
One thing to keep in mind if you’re trying to decide between a
tote and a backpack is that backpacks are naturally built to
make it easier for you to carry a heavy load. As a result, while
there might be the same amount of space available, you should
use a backpack if you’re going to have to carry a lot of very
heavy loads. This is especially the case when you consider that
the backpack keeps a heavier load centered over your back
instead of off to one side.
Another thing that you should consider before getting a tote is
that some of these bags do not zip at the top. Usually this will
not be a major problem for you, since it’s unlikely that you’ll
be flipping the bag upside down. However, it is important to
take note of this fact if it is something that matters to you.
After all, if you look you can usually find a bag in this style
that does close at the top.
Tote bags are versatile and come in many different sizes and
designs. You should not have any trouble finding one that both
fits your needs and looks great.
