What to look
for in a locker bag
When you are buying a locker bag, there are some features which,
if included will serve to make the users life more comfortable,
but which are often omitted by manufacturers, and go unnoticed
to the purchasing public. Those who own a locker bag which has
these features will know, and will always look for them in
future purposes, but the rest might not even have thought of
them.
The locker bag is a simple form of luggage, and yet it has to
conform to a few simple rules. Firstly, it has to be compact
enough to actually fit into a locker, and since they come in
many different sizes, it might be worth finding out the
dimensions of the locker that you want to put it in. Not all
lockers were created equal.
Secondly, waterproofing, whilst not actually a pre-requisite for
a locker bag is a good feature to have. Not just the outside,
which should be at least splash proof, but a waterproof pocket
to store wet clothing, such as swimwear and towels is a nice
thing to have.
As is a padded carrying sling. Most of the time, you will carry
your locker bag in your hand, but if you are walking for some
time, it is always a good idea to try and get it on your back.
Athletes know all about this, especially tennis players – there
is no sense risking tiring or injuring your tennis arm by
carrying a heavy bag in it. A padded sling will help to protect
the back, and just be a little more comfortable.
