Advanced
equipment needs an aluminum briefcase
Whatever electronics you are carrying around, it will be safest
if you put it in an aluminum briefcase. Only these can offer the
kind of protection that your valuable equipment deserves. Other
kinds of bags may be padded, they may be strong and durable, but
when it comes to resisting the brute force of day to day
commuting, or traveling long distances, an aluminum briefcase is
the best way to ensure that everything arrives in one piece.
Usually, the aluminum briefcase will come with reinforced steel
corners, which is a very important facet. Without these corners
there is the possibility that, over time, constant wear and tear
will begin to show on these areas because they are bound to be
subjected to more stress than the rest of the case.
In fact, the better examples of aluminum briefcase will have a
band all the way round the lid and the base, both in the place
that they meet, and also on the outside edges. Coupled with the
little studs on the bottom, and tough plastic handle, the
average case is certainly a force to be reckoned with.
The inside is as important as the outside, and no aluminum
briefcase would be complete without a foam insert that can be
reshaped to fit whatever you choose to carry inside it. The
reason behind the foam padding is to prevent the knocks causing
the equipment inside to rattle around, as well as providing an
additional layer of protection in the event that the ride gets
really rough.
