Saving on
designer wallets
The internet provides us shoppers with a big superstore where it
is possible to buy just about anything we can think of at a
price which is usually in the range of acceptable through to
bargain. In fact, there are so many good bargains to be had that
it can be difficult to resist them, and buying designer wallets
online is like that. They just look so good, but if one is not
careful, there are some marketing traps that can tend to swallow
you up, which mean that you will be getting a substandard wallet
rather than one of the designer wallets that you were promised.
For example, there are some designer wallets watchwords which
are designed to mislead, such as not using the actual designers
name, but showing a designer branded wallet that is not what is
being sold. There are also some retailers who try to sell
wallets in the style of a famous designer, and call them
discount versions.
Now this is fine if you know that you are buying a cheap copy
rather than one of the original designer wallets from the
designer of your choice. But on the other hand some of the
prices are so attractive that you can often buy the real thing
for the same price as a good quality alternative brand that is
not classified as designer.
Of course, you have to be patient and some of the best bargain
designer wallets can be had if you are prepared to look through
the catalogues and know what it is you want and how much you
could pay for it elsewhere.
