Choosing a
leather CD case can be easy
Depending on what kind of a leather CD case you are looking for,
this can be an easy or difficult task. For example, those that
are appropriate for leisure activities might not be the kind of
thing that you would want in a professional situation, but even
there, there might be a need for a leather CD case with
additional features and options which are more appropriate to
those surroundings.
The first thing to establish when looking for a leather CD case
is what kind of capacity you need it to have. Some can take as
many as 20 CDs, but these tend to be slightly more bulky.
Smaller ones are slimmer, but sometimes can be too soft, which
might lead to unfortunate accidents with the contents.
Protection of the CDs inside the leather CD case is also an area
that you need to look at before handing over your money. The
trouble is that sliding a CD in and out of a pouch several times
is going to scratch it, and manufacturers have come up with a
number of solutions for this problem. The solutions range from
inserting bits of softer material so that the CD rubs against
something a little lass abrasive, to using a system which tries
to keep the CD from sliding at all.
For business uses, a leather CD case which also has inserts for
business cards might be a good idea. They usually offer capacity
which runs into the tens of cards, and holds them in a flip out
wallet which provides an attractive accessory in its own right.
