Portability and
Accessibility – the two key features of a good PDA case
PDA cases have become a part of the modern
executive’s luggage. An ideal PDA case should have features so
that you can store all the things you need to carry in it, It
should also suit the atmosphere you work in. If you are thinking
for picking up one for yourself, consider the various features
that would best suit you. If you are only going to buy one case,
pick the one that is compatible with almost all PDA's on the market
that allows you to carry your cell phone, and various credit cards
etc in a way that best suits your functional requirements.
The idea behind a case for your PDA is
that you can carry it around easily. Always consider how portable
your PDA case is before investing in it. Is it too bulky to keep
in a pocket? Perhaps it has a variety of other ways to take it
with you like a belt clip or a spot you can slide your belt
through to keep your palm extra secure. Some may have shoulder
straps to hang the case. Most of these straps are soft to feel and
have adjustable lengths.
Also always make sure that the case is not
too clumsy and allows easy access of the computer. A PDA case that
is not carried in a pocket is comparatively easy to reach for. In
such a case, when you unzip the main pocket, your palm pops into
view, attached with a square of Velcro. The Velcro is critical
since it keeps the palm from falling out and lets you work on your
PDA with just one hand. When you're done you can just zip it back
up until your ready to use it again.
